SCOTCH PANCAKES.
200g SR flour
1 x 7.5ml sp baking powder
pinch salt
25g caster sugar
1 x 10ml sp syrup
1 egg
200mls milk
method.
put girdle on medium heat to warm up.
1: Sieve flour, salt, baking powder and sugar into a bowl.
2: Make well in center and drop in egg, syrup and half the milk.
3: Mix well, gradually add remaining milk to give a thick batter consistency.
4; Grease pre-heated girdle.
5: Drop spoonfuls onto hot girdle.
6: Cook untill bubbles begin to burst.
7: Turn and brown on second side.
